There are collabs, and then there are collabs that make you feel eight years old again in the best possible way. CamelBak and Crayola have joined forces on a limited-edition drinkware collection that takes the iconic crayon — the waxy smell, the paper label, the satisfying blunt tip — and turns it into an insulated water bottle. It shouldn’t work this well. It does.

The collection spans insulated and lightweight styles in classic Crayola colourways, with lids designed to mimic the top of a crayon.

Why it works

Nostalgia is one of the most powerful forces in product design right now, but it only lands when the execution is sincere. This isn’t a logo slap — CamelBak has actually built the crayon into the form of the bottle, from the label-style branding to the shaped lid. It’s a genuinely clever piece of product design dressed up as a fun collab.

The range

The collection includes multiple colourways — each one a faithful recreation of a Crayola classic. The Carnation Pink is an instant favourite; the Yellow Orange is peak nostalgia; the Forest Green is quietly perfect. Insulated options keep drinks cold; lightweight versions are built for everyday carry. Both are very much the kind of thing you buy for yourself and then have to explain to everyone who sees it.
