Two pairs for the woman who wants a capri that just works. The Norma Kamali high-rise legging version (£150) is the one that’s been quietly flattering people for years — the fabric holds, the waist sits perfectly, and it goes with everything. Technically a cropped trouser. Technically a capri. RÓHE doesn’t feel the need to resolve the question. The slim leg and structured scuba fabric mean these read entirely as tailored trousers until you clock the length — and then you realise that’s exactly the point. The one for anyone who thinks they don’t like capris.
The Colour One

Hot pink wool, sculptural satin floral appliqué at the hip, slim tapered leg. Area is known for crystal embellishment — here they’ve gone for appliqué, and the colour is gorgeous. We’re going to be honest: these are divisive. A structured opaque brief paired with sheer mesh capri panels and a tailored waistband — somewhere between hosiery, dancewear, and a very considered fashion statement. Styled with a longline blazer or an oversized shirt covering the brief panel, they’re genuinely, surprisingly chic. Whether they’re for you is entirely your call.
