An open-band ring of deliberate contrast from SHAY. An emerald-cut emerald — 1.05ct, prong-set and encircled by a halo of round-cut diamonds totalling 0.13ct — faces a single lustrous freshwater pearl across the open gap of an 18-karat gold band. Two entirely different materials, held in tension on a single slender shank. The composition is unexpected; the result is quietly extraordinary.
